 Step One: Contacting FTAC

Either parent or guardian may contact FTAC  at 1-800-668-8272 (toll free) or locally at 775-0068. Whether referred by a court or other referral source, the contacting party must present a copy of all legal documents regarding the services sought to be delivered through FTAC. This will include all conditional mandates and limitations set by a Parent/Child Contact Order, Conditions of Release and/or No-Contact Orders.

Step Two: Completing the Intake Process

Each parent or guardian must complete FTAC's Intake Process. This includes submitting a completed Intake Packet and participating in a separate on-site interview with an FTAC Facilitator. The Intake Packet will be provided by FTAC. When possible, the contacting party will provide FTAC with the name, address, and contact number of the other party so as contact can be made in a timely manner.

Step Three: Developing Your Parental Agreement

With the assistance of an FTAC caseworker, and upon the complete of both  FTAC Intakes your Parental Agreement will be developed. It will define how you and the other parent/guardian will participate in FTAC's varying programs, including your parent/child contact schedule noting days, times, and length of service and will be executed within the boundaries of any and all court-ordered requirements.

Step Four: Introducing FTAC to Your Child(ren)

Upon completion of and agreement to your parental agreement, FTAC will schedule an acclimation session for your child(ren). FTAC requires that the child(ren) expected to participate will first meet the facilitators and be acclimated to the FTAC facility prior to the delivery of services.
